"To educate, impassion and inspire young theater artists and their communities through musical theater classes, workshops and productions."
Origin! Theater is not-for-profit theater company focused on children's theater education, founded by Spring Green natives Michael Stanek and Chris Giese. Both grew up performing in theatrical productions at River Valley High School and as part of Spring Green’s community theater organization, River Valley Players. After graduating in 1986 and 2005 respectively, each went on to pursue professional careers in New York City and Los Angeles before returning to Wisconsin and starting Origin! Theater with the desire to give back to the community that helped shape their careers.
Together, they believe in creating an open, accepting environment where all children can experience the joy of theater, build confidence, embrace individuality and learn skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
